Earlier Works: Sophia Art-making is like being an explorer. The uncharted territory of the psyche, like 'deepest, darkest Africa', is eventually brought to the light of consciousness, but not without struggle. It is like wandering around in the dark trying to find the different doors. Here I found the 'almond' shape recurring.
